Are they cabins or apartments?

They are not cabins: Solar Valizas has six independent studio apartments in the same building, each with its own entrance, facing the beach with direct access to the sand.

Is it cheaper to book directly?

Yes. Booking directly avoids intermediary commissions; that's why the direct price on our website is 10% lower than the one published on platforms such as Booking or Airbnb.

Is the price shown in Uruguayan pesos?

We show the price in US dollars (USD) and its equivalent in Uruguayan pesos (UYU), calculated at that day's exchange rate. The peso price is locked at the moment of your request and you can pay in dollars or pesos.

How do I book and what deposit is required?

You send your request with the dates and apartment you chose, receive the details by email and we confirm on WhatsApp. To book we ask for a 50% deposit and the rest is paid on arrival.

Do the apartments have a kitchen?

All apartments have a kitchenette with a single-burner cooktop, a mini fridge and basic kitchen utensils to prepare your meals. Monoambientes 5 and 6 have a stove with oven.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, all apartments have free WiFi.

Do you offer rates for long remote-work stays?

Yes. We have special pricing for long stays, designed for remote workers. It applies only from mid-March to late October. We offer options with gas heating and another with a wood stove, plus WiFi and a kitchenette, so you can work comfortably from your studio facing the sea. Write to us on WhatsApp with your dates and we'll put together a proposal.
